These are not the cloth diapers your parents remember!
Gone are the days of pinning cloth pre-fold sheets as your cloth diaper solution. Those diapers were time consuming to change not to mention the leak issues! Modern cloth diapers are form fitted with elasticized legs and back, have multiple snap closures and are sized by age… just like disposables. But not all modern cloth diapers are created equal. Wonderwear cloth diapers work as well or better than disposables at preventing leaks. Testimonials from our clients say it best:
“Natalie had several major ‘digestive events’ this week, and were AMAZED with how the cloth diapers handled them! Every day, we’re glad we made the choice to use your products!” Allyson B. Mississauga, Ontario
“While on vacation, we were using disposables and were definitely not nearly as happy as with using your diapers. I don’t know if it was just the brand we bought, but we were dealing with leaks up the back all the time. Made us really appreciate our decision to go with Wonderwear. Great diapers, great service!” Fred S. Toronto, Ontario
Why do they work so well? Wonderwear diapers are a microfiber and cotton hybrid diaper with stay dry design. The outer layer of our diapers is micro terry which is significantly more absorbent than cotton. The microfleece inner layer and cotton interior pad draw wetness and bacteria away from baby’s sensitive skin. Microfleece is a common diapering fiber used as a stay dry layer. These fabrics are not designed to absorb liquids, so when used inside a diaper as the layer closest to a baby’s skin the urine passes through them and into the absorbent layers of the diaper. This helps to keep moisture away from a baby’s skin longer, helping the skin to stay dry. This stay dry design reduces diaper rash and helps your baby sleep through the night.
It is fair to say that the quality of the diaper offered by a cloth diaper service varies considerably. Please check out this comparison chart to explore the differences between cloth diaper delivery services operating in the GTA and surrounding areas.
We are truly proud of the quality of our diapers and are happy to offer a service to take the work out of cloth diapering. A great solution that is healthier for your baby and better for the environment. Please consider us! I am confident you would enjoy the experience.
